Title Sequences
To create a title sequence for We Are Not Alone, a feature length sci-fi comedy for UKTV from the creators of the hit BBC comedy series Ghosts. The sequence needed to bridge the gap between the film’s opening scene and the post titles scene, ensuring a smooth narrative transition and setting the stage for the ensuing feature.
THE CHALLENGE
Taking inspiration from 1970s space exploration graphic design and the human race’s fascination with the night sky, we crafted a brisk narrative sequence that plotted our journey from early stargazers to the launch of Voyager (which is mentioned later in the film), culminating in the capture of Voyager by alien invaders whose map leads them straight to Earth, and the impending invasion ensues. All set to a pulsing soundtrack with credits dynamically placed throughout.
